Pentaprisma. Practical Photo Workshops in Berlin

I would like to introduce you into my latest adventure: Pentaprisma. Practical Photo Workshops in Berlin.

The idea is simple: Learn Photography while you discover unusual and interesting places around Berlin.

Berlin is full of hidden gems. Abandoned buildings, unexplored backyards, quiet cemeteries... are perfect scenarios to make spectacular pictures!

Groups are very small, never being larger than 5 people. And no minimun amount of attendees is required!

We pay attention not only to the technical part, but also to the artistic side of photography. One of the goals of the workshop is that you turn into an active viewer; you'll learn how to be more aware of your surrounding, which will help you to make more interesting pictures.

The workshop doesn't have to end when we say goodbye. Once you're back at home after the workshop, select the best pictures of the day, upload them to our Facebook Page and we'll go through them pointing out if there's anything you could do next time to improve your results. Cool, right?

And although the website is in English, workshops can be given by arrangement in Spanish and German too.

Tomás Correa

Berlin, Germany

I was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in 1974. In 1992 I started to study photography in my home town. After some years I moved to Berlin to go on with my studies and get a wider view about photography. After working for many years in the design and advertising industry and having photography as a scape, in 2009 I decided to put more effort on my own projects. At the moment, I'm focussed in a personal search that's helping me to understand what I want to express, artistically speaking. Or is it the other way around?
