New Photo Workshop in Gran Canaria: On windows and mirrors.

I'm very happy to announce that I'll be soon be giving a new photography workshop in Gran Canaria: On windows and mirrors. How to tell stories with images.

I've been booked by the guys from ECFI (Escuela Canaria de Fotografía) to give a workshop focused in the conceptual side of photography. The idea is to focus in different techniques and working procedures to develop our way of looking at our surroundings (windows) and inside of ourselves (mirrors).

The workshop will be mainly practical and will be based on the main stages involved in the production of a series: thought, perception, development and presentation.

This photo workshop will last from the 6th till the 27th of February and will consist of 4 sessions (3 hours each) that will take place on Fridays (18:00-21:00 h.)

Berlin, Germany

I was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in 1974. In 1992 I started to study photography in my home town. After some years I moved to Berlin to go on with my studies and get a wider view about photography. After working for many years in the design and advertising industry and having photography as a scape, in 2009 I decided to put more effort on my own projects. At the moment, I'm focussed in a personal search that's helping me to understand what I want to express, artistically speaking. Or is it the other way around?
